Located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne Lalor North engaged GRS Communications to help the school capitalise on the an increase in the school age population in the suburbs of Lalor and Morang South.

The 2011 Attitudes to School Survey indicated a strong foundation for future success with the general school population being well above the state average in student morale, classroom behaviour, connectedness, and feelings of safety; wellbeing, relationships and teaching and learning The 2011 parent opinion survey also showed positive opinions overall.

With  VCE results the same as neighbouring schools, and NAPLAN results for literacy, numeracy and writing  similar or above like schools, the program promoted these attributes while highlighting leading programs such as the Music Futures Program, as a flagship school; VET Music Year 11, 12.
