Keilor Downs College engaged GRS Communications during 2009, with the goal of redressing a fall in Year 7 student enrolments. GRS continues to provide marketing support to the College.
While the school had performed well academically, offered a wide array of subject choices, with new and refurbished facilities, a significant decline in the secondary school age population in the immediate catchment and an increase in available student places from other schools augured a long term decline in student enrolments.
The energetic marketing and public relations campaign that integrated community engagement and communications activities to re-educated and motivate the community about the significant education opportunities continues to contribute to a substantial and sustained rise in enrolments.
