Ilim College is a coeducational K12 college that provides studies in accordance with the Victorian Curriculum F-10 with a focus on Islam, Muslim cultures and language.
Until recently, the College was the only Islamic-based college available to the Islamic community in the northern corridor of Melbourne that offered an academic curriculum integrated with Islamic studies. Serving Muslims from over 24 countries, with over 90 per cent of students coming from non-English speaking backgrounds, Ilim is distinguished by its ethnicity in Australian society, its history, geographic location, and its academic and Islamic educational services.
GRS Communications assisted the College in developing communications marketing strategies and resources that crossed cultural boundaries, and made the services and culture of the college accessible, not only to the diverse Australian Muslim community, but also people from a non-Islamic background.
